DAY 01: COLOMBO ARRIVAL - KANDY

On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, you will be transferred directly to Kandy. En route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. This orphanage is the home of about 60 elephants, some of them baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. The best time to visit is during feeding time, when you can see the baby elephants being bottle-fed. You could also accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see them having their daily bath. Check in at your hotel in Kandy. Rest of the day will be leisure for you. Overnight stays in Kandy.

DAY 02: KANDY - CITY TOUR

After Breakfast, enjoy a city tour. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, and is a World Heritage Site. Drive around Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit Kandy town and the bazaar, the Arts & Crafts Centre, a Gem Museum and a Lapidary. Also visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and then expanded by the British. Its 147 acres provide an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the museum at the Temple and then enjoy some traditional Sri Lankan dances. Overnight stays in Kandy.

DAY 03: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA

After Breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kandy and transfer to Nuwara Eliya, where the best Tea in the world is produced. Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory en route, learn about the process of manufacturing tea, see how tea is graded and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. Check In at Hotel in Nuwara Eliya and later enjoy sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stays in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 04: NUWARA ELIYA – YALA

After Breakfast, Check out from your hotel in Nuwara Eliya and proceed to Yala. Its northern boundaries border on the Laughable Elephant Sanctuary with the added bonus of a scenic ocean frontage. The terrain is varied - flat plains alternating with rocky outcrops. The vegetation ranges from open parkland to dense jungle. Water holes, small lakes, lagoons and streams provide water for the animals and birds. The specialty here is the large numbers of elephants. On arrival at Yala, check in at hotel and overnight stay in Yala.

DAY 05: YALA SAFARI TOUR

After Breakfast, take a game drive either in the early morning or afternoon or a night safari. Overnight stays in Yala.

DAY 06: YALA – BENTOTA

After Breakfast, check out from your hotel in Yala and leave for Bentota. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Rest of the day will be leisure for you. Overnight stays in Bentota.

DAY 07: BENTOTA

After Breakfast, you will be getting full day leisure and you can enjoy in beach. (The vehicle is not at your disposal here). With a tropical lagoon and a major river, Bentota is a major tourist resort area. It offers water sports possibilities nowhere else to be found. Apart from swimming, body-surfing or diving in the sea, you can jet-ski, windsurf, parasail or enjoy a romantic river safari on the river and lagoon. Beruwela, near Bentota has one of the longest beaches, ideal for swimming. Overnight stays in Bentota.

DAY 08: BENTOTA– COLOMBO CITY TOUR

After Breakfast, check out from your hotel in Bentota and transfer to Colombo. Enjoy a city tour, driving through the commercial area of the "Fort" so named, because both the Portuguese and Dutch had a Fort here. Drive past "Pettah" – a noisy oriental bazaar with a hotchpotch of humanity, bargains, mosques and temples. Drive past a Hindu temple, Jumi-ul Alfar Jumma Mosque, Wolvendaal Dutch Church, Hultsdorf Law Courts and the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens, Independence Square and Bandaranayke Memorial International Conference Hall. Also visit a departmental store, House of Fashion offering "Designer" brands of clothing at reasonable prices, Lakmedura (Antiques) and Majestic City Mall. Overnight stays in Colombo.

DAY 09: COLOMBO DEPARTURE

After Breakfast, check out from your hotel in Colombo and will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo for your return journey.
